Anie helped me reconfigure a ready to made dress for my daughter’s birthday. I felt ready to resign myself to the chest area not fitting correctly due to it being a ‘sale’ item and me needing a white dress in haste but Anie had a clever idea to use the lining of the dress to rework the upper part of the dress so it would fit perfectly. Anie saved the day! I’ve had a bad experience getting my wedding dress altered with a local shop/alterations business and was deflated, disappointed and not excited about my dress any longer. I’m so glad that I switched and went over to Anie - she just knows so much about fabrics and masters any technique she did a lot of things that were wrongly done in the past, improve my dress loads, and had some additional ideas on improvements! I am so so so pleased with the end result and then finally in love with my wedding dress again! The price was great, and the quality of work is impeccable! Anie is just the sweetest human. She fixed a complicated dress I had and made it so much more wearable. I kept it on to go out after she fixed it, and she helped me get ready. We use Clothing Alterations by Anie for many many years now when living in Walthamstow. We are short adult people and not always find cloths we like to fit us perfectly and since we moved away from London we gather together a bag of clothing needing alterations and we visit her once a year. Never been disappointed. Anie has golden hands and couldn't dare going to another place. She've altered my husband's suit, one of my events dresses and lots of day dresses, jackets, trousers, anything we needed her help. She's good and customer service is outstanding!
